A personal portrait project for artist Ali Lakshmanasamy. Inspired by a life-changing event, she wanted to express her story through a photoshoot that incorporated sculptures, writing and fashion. Shot in her former bedroom, she dressed her set with fabric and pages of notes she has written.
She requested a soft, dreamy look to the shots that was achieved using tights and gold organza fabric over my lens and through editing in Lightroom.
The photos were displayed in an exhibition she hosted celebrating her last few nights in her former flat, alongside artwork from local artists.
